Chandrakanta S. Shah

Chandrakanta S. Shah, 92, of Monmouth Junction, NJ passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro.

Born in Nagra, Gujarat, India, Mrs. Shah immigrated to the United States in 1989. She originally resided in South Plainfield before moving to Monmouth Junction several years ago. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading religious books, and taking care of her family.

Mrs. Shah is predeceased by her husband Shantilal Shah (d. 2015) and her son Jayprakash Shah (d. 2016). She is survived by her son, Bharat Shah of New Jersey, her daughters, Dipika Doctor of India and Nipa Modi of California, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Pooja services will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Franklin Memorial Park located at 1800 Route 27 North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
