Chandrakanta "Dipakben" Patel

Chandrakanta “Dipakben” Patel, of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 83 years old. Born in Karamsad India, she came to the United States in 1972. She lived in Piscataway and Lansdale PA, before moving to Somerset thrirteen years ago.

She was an assembly worker for Central Sprinkler in Lansdale PA, before retiring in 2005. Dipak was most beloved. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Her carrot cake and cookies were well known by all who knew her. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Harivadan Patel (d. 2019), and her parents Somabhai and Kamlaben Patel.

Surviving are her loving daughters Jagruti (Sameer) of Michigan and Shveta (Dave) of Virginia; and her four grandchildren Parth, Shreya, Maya & Jayden
