Chandrakant J. Parekh, of Monroe Twp., passed away in the early hours on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. He was 73 years old and lived a vibrant life.
Born in Mumbai, India, he came to the United States in the late 1970's. He resided in West Orange, NJ for over 20 years before moving to Monroe Twp., NJ 9 years ago.
Chandrakant worked for Pfizer and then Stryker Homedica in Rutherford, NJ, for several decades, before retiring.
He enjoyed working with his hands and had a passion for music & food. Family and friends were the most important thing to Chandrakant and he made a great effort to keep in touch with everyone. He cherished his granddaughters, Aisha and Ariana very much.
Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Nirupama Parekh; his son Melene Parekh; his daughter and son-in-law Doreen and Dhaval Patel; his grandchildren Aisha and Ariana Patel; his brothers Ramesh Parekh and Rajani Parekh; and his sisters Sudha Shah, Ranjan Parekh, and Madhu Doshi.
