Carolyn M. Zarillo, formerly of Milltown, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Parker at River Road in Piscataway. She was 76.
Born in Newark, she lived in New Brunswick and Milltown, before moving to Monroe Twp. several years ago.
Carolyn was Deputy Clerk to the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, before retiring in 2003.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, traveling to Italy, Hawaii and Bermuda and going on cruises. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Ginger.
She's predeceased by her parents Joseph and Irene (Stefel) Kazlau.
Surviving is her husband of 56 years Anthony J. Zarillo, Sr.; her son Anthony J. Zarillo, Jr.and his wife Sandy, of Long Valley, NJ; her daughters Lisa Trent, and her husband Jon, of Toms River, and Carolyn Viola, and her husband Steve, of Milltown; her brother Joseph Kazlau of Port Jefferson, NY; and her beloved grandchildren Anthony J. Zarillo, III, Daniel J. Zarillo, Nicholas M. Trent, Samantha M. Trent, Ava R. Viola and Francesca G. Viola.
Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday, March 3rd, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main Street- at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 10:00 am, at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Remsen Avenue, New Brunswick.
