Carol Siegel

October 11, 1933 — January 4, 2020

Carol Siegel, of Freehold, passed away on Saturday January 4, 2020 at Applewood Estates, a Continuing Care Community. She was 86.

Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late David and Fanny (Derishinsky) Cohen. She lived in Kendall Park, NYC and Monroe Twp., before moving to Freehold about 12 years ago.

Financially savoy, Carol was a stock broker, during the 1960's, for Princeton Planning. Eventually she worked for Mario Gavelly in NYC.

She enjoyed being part of the Ya Ya's Club.

Carol's predeceased by her husband Albert Siegel (d. 2005) and her son Fredrick Siegel (d. 2001).

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law - Julia and William Byers of Wellington, FL; her daughter-in-law Ellen Siegel-McDonald of Monmouth Jct; her sister Barbara Greenberg of Ft. Worth, TX; her grandchildren Jonathan, David & Danielle; and her great grandson Jackson.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Jan 9th, 1:00 PM at Floral Park Cemetery, Deans Rhode Hall Rd., Monmouth Jct. 08852. Shiva will be observed on Friday, January 10th from 11:00 – 5:00 at the home of David and Jess Siegel.
