Bhupendra N. Patel, of Piscataway, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 81.
Born in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, he came to the United States in 1972. He resided in Jersey City before moving to Piscataway in 2005.
Bhupendra owned Tiny's Liquors in North Bergen before retiring in 2008. He enjoyed watching movies and traveling but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He's predeceased by his brother Bharat and his sister Lataben.
Surviving is his wife Jyoti B. Patel; his son and daughter-in-law, Nirav and Manavi Patel of East Brunswick; his grandchildren Krish and Sanaa; his brother Ramesh Patel of Bridgewater; and his sisters Aruna Patel of Jersey City, Meena Patel of India, and Dipika Patel of Nutley.
