Bhanumati Patel

Bhanumati I. Patel, of East Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at home. She was 79 years old.

Born in Kenya, she came to the United States in 1973. She lived in Kenya before moving to East Brunswick, 47 years ago.

Mrs. Patel loved to cook and looked forward to hosting celebrations with her family and friends. She was devoted to God and took an active role in her local mandir, Ved Mandir or East Brunswick..

She's predeceased by her parents Shankerlal and Parsenben Patel and her brother Manubhai Patel.

Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Ishvarlal Patel; her brothers and sister-in-laws Hasmukh and Kamini Patel of Audobon, PA, Shashikant and Mradula Patel of Terre Haute, IN, and Kantibhai and Vasanti Patel of San Ramon, CA, Taraben Patel of Bridgewater, NJ; her sister and brother-in-law Kamlaben and Ishvarlal Patel of Nairobi, Kenya and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Pooja services will be held on Friday, August 21st, from 1:00 – 2:30 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Final witness and Cremation will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. You may sign the online condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
