Betty Robertson, of North Brunswick, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Somerset. She was 76. Born in New York City, she lived in North Brunswick most of her life.
Betty was a clinical psychologist for Middlesex County Corrections for 13 years. Previously she was an adjunct professor of psychology at Middlesex County College
In addition to being a clinical psychologist, she also was an art therapy major. She was a member of the National Honor Society for New Brunswick High School, Trenton State College and Farleigh Dickinson University.
Betty volunteered at Trenton Psychiatric and with ARC of Middlesex County, where she was the recipient of several awards. She was a talented artist and enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She's predeceased by her brother William Kreski.
Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Rebel Robertson III; her son and daughter-in-law Rebel and Linda Robertson IV of North Brunswick; her daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Michael Guerrera of Alpha; her sister Shirley Everett of North Brunswick; her grandchildren Barbara, Jessie, Rebel V and Joey; and her great grandchildren William, Alyssa, Liara and Ariah.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, January 5th, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the ASPCA or ARC. You may sign the online obituary "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
