Barbara Ashendorf, of Monroe Twp., passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Parker at Monroe. She was 90.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, she lived in North Brunswick before retiring to Sarasota, Florida, where she lived for 30 years. She moved back to New Jersey, residing in Stonegate at Parker in Highland Park, and more recently to Parker at Monroe.
Bobbi was an accounting clerk for Bristol Myers Squibb in North Brunswick, retiring in 1986. She was an avid golfer and tennis player.
She's predeceased by her husband Seymour Ashendorf (d. 2015).
Surviving is her son Richard Ashendorf, and his wife Susie, of Raleigh, NC; her daughter Abbe Miller, and her husband Gary, of North Brunswick; her grandchildren Eric Miller of Freehold and Brian Miller of North Brunswick; and her great grandchildren Avery and Gavin Miller of Freehold.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 18th, 11:00 am, at Beth Israel Cemetery Mausoleum in Woodbridge. Contributions may be made in Barbara's name to Michael's Feat, Michael Gerard Puharic Memorial Fund, POB 787, Matawan, NJ 07747.
