Babatunde Kolade Okesola, age 33, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026. He was born on July 4 th, 1992, in Lagos, Nigeria. He is survived by his mother, father, grandparents, and two younger brothers and younger sister. He is the oldest son of a family of 6. He attended Nottingham High School, where he played basketball for the NorthStar team. He went to Rutgers University in New Brunswick where he received his Bachelor's of Science in Public Health class of 2015. After graduating college, he worked as a Lab Research Scientist for Bristol Myers Squibb and Merck.

Tunde was a compassionate, caring, family-oriented oldest brother who was filled with courage. He was a creative person who enjoyed expressing himself through music and art. He recorded multiple songs, produced beats, instrumentals, and was constantly in his own home-made studio. He wrote his own songs, loved to freestyle, and collab with other artists. He loved to draw and create graphic designs through photoshop and painting. He shared his gifts of music and drawing with his brothers and his community. Tunde was a huge sports fan and loved to watch many sports like football, basketball, baseball, and soccer.

He was soft-hearted, kind, and gentle and loved being with his family and friends. Tunde was a spiritual family man who liked learning about many different concepts and sharing knowledge about his spiritual journey which helped him overcome personal challenges.

To reminisce, and celebrate the life of a good brother, friend and family man, a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 1st, 2026, 6:00pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. We will forever remember his courage, ambition, and a bold sense of strength.
