Ashokbhai M. Patel, of East Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 68.
Born in Changa, Gujarat, India, he came to the United States in 2003, residing in East Brunswick.
Ashok worked for Hunter Douglas Blinds in Philadelphia. While living in India, he was a very proud farmer. A very social person, he enjoyed talking politics, reading and traveling.
He's predeceased by his brother Chandrakantbhai Patel.
Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Rekhaben Patel; his son and daughter-in-law, Viral and Staffy Patel of East Brunswick; his daughter and son-in-law Jignasha and Mehul Patel of East Brunswick; his brothers Arvindbhai Patel of London and Rasikbhai Patel of San Jose, CA; his sisters Santaben Patel of London and Sumatiben Patel of Denver, CO; and 2 grandchildren.
Pooja services will be Saturday, July 14th, from 8:00 – 10:00 am at Franklin Memorial Park, Rt. 27 & Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick. Funeral arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the condolence "guestbook" for the family at www.crabiel.com
