Asha A. Patel

Asha A. Patel, of Monroe Township, passed away Monday, February 05, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 56.

Born in Surat, India, she came to the United States in 1980. She resided in Jersey City and Roselle before moving to Monroe Township 16 years ago.

Her family was her world and always put her family first. Asha enjoyed meeting people and was very social. She never expected anything from anyone but always gave. One of her best attributes was that she was a fighter, no matter what obstacle came in her direction. She loved cooking, traveling, and volunteering. She was and will remain inspiration to her family.

Surviving is her husband Arun Patel; her parents Chunilal and Kamuben Patel of Princeton; her sons Ashesh and Maruti and daughters Anjni and Nika. She has 5 siblings Pratima, Harish, Hemant, Nilesh and Jayesh. She also has a mother-in-law, Ambaben, sister-in-law, Taraben, brother-in-law, Manojbhai and sister-in-law Pratimaben, residing in Bardoli, India.

Pooja services will be held Wednesday, February 7th, from 1:00 pm– 3:00 pm at Franklin Memorial Park, Rt. 27 and Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the online "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
