Arlene Traina

Arlene Traina, formerly of South Brunswick, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Lawrence Healthcare Center in Lawrenceville. She was 77 years old. Born in Queens NY, she lived in South Brunswick for 44 years, before moving to Ewing 4 years ago.

Arlene was a paraprofessional for South Brunswick Schools before retiring. She loved going to Disney World and Florida. She was a parishioner of St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church in Kendall Park.

She is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Ellen (Waters) Blum; and her brothers, Michael Blum and Stephen Blum.

Surviving are her husband Joseph J. Traina, her son Michael Traina (Jennifer) of Monroe; her son Anthony Traina (Shakeeda) of Burlington, her daughter Christina Traina (Kenneth Reilly) of North Brunswick; her grandchildren Anthony, Alexa, Noah, Layonii, La'Zarii and Megaa; and her siblings Susan Osborn (Michael), Joanne Blum and Phillip Blum.

A Blessing will be held on Tuesday, October 13th, at 11:00 am at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick. A Visitation for family and friends will take place prior to the blessing, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
