Anne Shehade

Anne Shehade, of New Brunswick, passed away Thursday, July 06, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 98. Born In Bayonne NJ, she was raised in Beirut, Lebanon. In 1995 she moved back to the United States and resided in New Brunswick.
She was a member of the Our Lady of Peace Sodality in Beirut and St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Franklin Twp. Mrs. Shehade was devoted to her family and prayer, and enjoyed knitting.
She's predeceased by her husband George Shehade (d. 1994), her daughters Angel and Georgette, and her sons Salim and Toni.
Surviving are her sons Joseph Shehade, David Chehade and Elie Shehade; her daughters Jeanette Shaheen, Juliette Ayoub, Bernadette Chehade and Josephine Wainwright; her sisters Therese Sfeir and Nadia Tannous; and her beloved 46 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 10th, 10:00 am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, Easton Ave., Franklin Twp. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 North Main Street – at Riva Avenue, Milltown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Sharbel's Church, 7 Reeves St., Somerset, NJ 08873. You may sign the "obituary" email "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
