Anna Holmes of East Brunswick passed away peacefully at home on Thursday June 22, 2017 in her 86th year, with her family by her side.
She was born in Perth Amboy, lived in Avenel, Lodi, South Hackensack and Garfield before moving to East Brunswick 20 years ago.
Mrs. Holmes worked as a mail clerk for US Postal Service at the Palisades Park Post Office for 20 years, Bergen Pines Regional Medical Center and St Peter's University Medical Center before retirement.
She was a devoted Roman Catholic and loved reading and spending time with her family.
Her beloved husband, Seymour R. Holmes predeceased her in 2004. She was the beloved mother of Anita DeLaHoz and Arthur Anderson and the devoted Grandmother of Gabrielle, Tyler and Victoria DeLaHoz.
A Memorial Celebration of Life and Blessing will be held on Wednesday, June 28,2017 at 7:30 PM at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 North Main Street - at Riva Avenue, Milltown, NJ. You may sign the obituary email guestbook at www.crabiel.com
