Anantrai P. Mody, of Jersey City, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at home. He was 84.
Born in Mumbai, India, he came to the United States in 1976. He resided in Hoboken before moving to Jersey City 10 years ago.
Anant was a real estate investor. He enjoyed reading, watching movies and spending time with his granddaughter.
Surviving is his wife Vasumati (Bhatt) Mody; his son and daughter-in-law Vipul and Karen Mody of Hoboken; his granddaughter Emma Rose; and his brother Pratap Mody of Arlington, TX.
Pooja services will be Saturday, January 11th, from 8:30 – 10:30 am (Service will be in 1st building on left – parking in back of building) at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
