Ambaben S. Patel, of Edison, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at the AristaCare Delaire rehabilitation center located in Linden. She was 78 years old.
Born in Shelavi, Gujarat, India, she came to the United States in 1998. She resided in Baltimore, MD prior to moving to Edison, NJ several years ago.
Mrs. Patel was a very spiritual person who volunteered every Sunday at the BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Temple in Edison. She led a very simple life and spent her time engaged in devotion, worship and reading of spiritual scriptures.
She is survived by her husband Shankarbhai Patel; her sons Pradip and Raj Patel, both also from Edison; her daughter Gitaben Patel of East Windsor; her sisters and brother in India and several grandchildren.
Traditional Hindu funeral services will be held in the presence of family and loved ones on Monday, August 13th, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Franklin Memorial Park, Cozzens Lane, Rt. 27, North Brunswick.
